Sheriff Jackson (on left)
Sheriff Jackson is a friend of Andy's and is the President of the Sheriff's Association. He and his deputy Deputy Joe Watson are passing through Mayberry when they stop by the courthouse. They see the car inside that Goober had set up and assume it's for an exhibit on traffic safety. He was portrayed by Wally Engelhardt.
