Sheldon Leonard
Sheldon Leonard (February 22, 1907 - January 10, 1997) was co-creator and executive producer of The Andy Griffith Show, as well as director of several episodes. He received nine Emmy nominations for directing the TV series "Make Room for Daddy" and "I Spy", for producing the series "My World and Welcome to It" and for making a guest appearance on "Cheers". He was also executive producer of the series "Make Room for Daddy", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. and "I Spy". He appeared in the TV reunion special Andy Griffith Show Reunion. His film appearances include Another Thin Man, Tortilla Flat, To Have and Have Not, The Falcon in Hollywood, It's a Wonderful Life, Sinbad the Sailor, My Dream Is Yours, Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man, Guys and Dolls and Pocketful of Miracles. He provided the voice of Dodsworth the Cat in two Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoons, Kiddin' the Kitten and A Peck o' Trouble.
