Renie Riano (August 7, 1899 - July 3, 1971) appeared in three episodes of Mayberry R.F.D. She played two notable recurring roles in film series. In four "Nancy Drew" movies she was Effie, the Drew's housekeeper. She also played Maggie Jiggs in five "Jiggs and Maggie" films, beginning with Bringing Up Father and co-starring Joe Yule. Her other film appearances include My Dear Miss Aldrich, You're a Sweetheart, Four's a Crowd, Wings of the Navy, Mr. Moto in Danger Island, The Women, Honeymoon in Bali, Li'l Abner, Adam Had Four Sons, Ziegfeld Girl, Ice-Capades, They Died with Their Boots On, There's One Born Every Minute, Blondie for Victory, None but the Lonely Heart, Can't Help Singing, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Anchors Aweigh, The Time of Your Life, As Young as You Feel, Bikini Beach, Pajama Party, The Family Jewels, Three on a Couch and Fireball 500.
