Phil Chambers (June 16, 1916 - January 16, 1993) appeared in episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and Mayberry R.F.D. He also played Jed Ransom on "Lassie", Dr. Harrow on "My Friend Flicka", Sgt. Myles Magruder on "The Gray Ghost" and the general store owner on "Bonanza". He appeared in the films Executive Suite, The Mole People, Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? and Raintree County.
