New York City was the home of several people who passed through Mayberry.
Amongst them was Dr. Harrison Everett Breen, a famous, published pastor seen in the season 4 episode, "The Sermon for Today". Rev. Hobart M. Tucker's All Souls Church invited Breen to Mayberry in order to deliver the sermon, "What's Your Hurry?".
