Lurene Tuttle (August 20, 1907 - May 28, 1986) appeared in two episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. She co-starred as Effie in the radio drama "Adventures of Sam Spade" and played the recurring character of Hannah Yarby on the TV series "Julia", for which she received an Emmy Award nomination. Her film appearances include Stand Up and Cheer!, Tom Dick and Harry, Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, Macbeth, A Life of Her Own, Goodbye My Fancy, Room for One More, Don't Bother to Knock, Niagara, The Affairs of Dobie Gillis, The Glass Slipper, Sincerely Yours, Sweet Smell of Success, Psycho, Ma Barker's Killer Brood, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (with Don Knotts), The Fortune Cookie, Disney's The Horse in the Gray Flannel Suit, Walking Tall, Nutcracker Fantasy and Testament. She was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
