Keye Luke
Keye Luke (June 18, 1904 - January 12, 1991) appeared in one episode of The Andy Griffith Show. He played several recurring roles throughout his career. He was Lee Chan the Number One Son in ten "Charlie Chan" movies (and in one Peter Lorre "Mr. Moto" film). He played Kato in the film serials The Green Hornet and The Green Hornet Strikes Again! He was Dr. Lee in five "Dr. Gillespie" movies with Lionel Barrymore (and Andy Hardy's Blonde Trouble with Mickey Rooney). Finally, on TV he was Master Po on the popular series "Kung Fu" with David Carradine. His other film appearances include The Painted Veil, Anything Goes, The Good Earth, Phantom of Chinatown, No No Nanette, Mr. and Mrs. North, Invisible Agent, Young Man with a Horn, Godzilla Raids Again (voice only), Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing, Around the World in Eighty Days, Rodan the Flying Monster (voice only), The Hawaiians, Won Ton Ton the Dog Who Saved Hollywood, Gremlins, Gremlins 2: The New Batch and Woody Allen's Alice. Keye Luke painted the murals displayed on the foyer walls and auditorium ceiling of Grauman's Chinese Theatre. He was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
