Ken Berry (born November 3, 1933) played Sam Jones in four episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and in all 78 episodes of Mayberry R.F.D. He starred as Captain Wilton Parmenter on the TV series "F Troop" and as Vinton Harper on "Mama's Family". His film appearances include Two for the Seesaw, and Disney's Herbie Rides Again and The Cat from Outer Space. He appeared in the TV reunion specials E! True Hollywood Story: Andy of Mayberry and Inside TV Land: The Andy Griffith Show. Berry's former wife Jackie Joseph also appeared in episodes of "The Andy Griffith Show" and Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C.
