Hugh Marlowe
Hugh Marlowe (January 30, 1911 - May 2, 1982) appeared in one episode of The Andy Griffith Show. He played the title character in 1940's "The Adventures of Ellery Queen" for CBS radio. His film appearances include Mrs. Parkington, Meet Me in St. Louis, Come to the Stable, Twelve O'Clock High, Night and the City, All about Eve, Rawhide, Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Monkey Business, Casanova's Big Night, Garden of Evil, World without End, Earth vs. the Flying Saucers, Elmer Gantry, Birdman of Alcatraz and Seven Days in May.
