Herbert "Herb" Ellis (born January 17, 1921) appeared in one episode of The Andy Griffith Show (credited as "Herb Ellis"). He played recurring characters in the TV series "Dragnet" and "Peter Gunn" and appeared in the films Pete Kelly's Blues, The Fortune Cookie, The Party and Hang 'em High.
