Leon Ames (January 20, 1902 - October 12, 1993) appeared in one episode of The Andy Griffith Show. Probably best remembered as Gordon Kirkwood, Wilbur Post's neighbor on "Mister Ed", he also played recurring characters on "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "My Three Sons".
