Colin Male (August 8, 1925 - October 23, 1996) was the announcer of the opening credits sequence during the first five seasons of The Andy Griffith Show. His final appearance on the show was an on-screen role. His film appearances include Who's Minding the Mint? (directed by Howard Morris), The Kentucky Fried Movie and Summer Rental.
