Barry E. Blitzer (April 29, 1929 - January 27, 2010) co-wrote with Ray Brenner one episode of The Andy Griffith Show and 15 episodes of Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. He also wrote episodes of the TV series "The Phil Silvers Show" (for which he won an Emmy Award), "The Ann Sothern Show", "McHale's Navy", "The Flintstones", "Get Smart", "Land of the Lost", "Good Times", "The Love Boat", "Too Close for Comfort", "The Jetsons" and "Small Wonder".
